We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

Scope Note: These Terms govern the Aevora Labs website (aevoralabs.com) and the Zurelo application. Our career intelligence product, Mulyra, has its own dedicated Terms of Service at mulyra.com/terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Zurelo application ("App") or accessing the Aevora Labs website ("Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use our services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Aevora Labs LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a Delaware limited liability company. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

1A. Age Requirements and Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Zurelo requires users to be at least 16 years old. Because Zurelo processes health-adjacent data (food logs, weight, nutrition goals), we have set our minimum age at 16 for all users regardless of location.

Zurelo is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@aevoralabs.com.

Users in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom must be at least 16 years old, consistent with GDPR Article 8 / UK GDPR.

2. Description of Services

Zurelo is a nutrition analysis and food scanning application that uses artificial intelligence to estimate nutritional content of foods from photos, barcodes, and manual entries. Our services include:

AI-powered food image recognition and nutritional estimation
Barcode scanning and nutrition label OCR
Daily food logging and nutrition tracking
Weekly nutrient deficiency reports
Personalized food recommendations

3. Accuracy and Limitations

AI-generated nutritional estimates are approximations and may contain errors. You acknowledge that:

Nutritional data is generated by AI models and public databases (USDA FoodData Central, Open Food Facts) and may not be 100% accurate.
Serving sizes, preparation methods, and ingredient variations can significantly affect actual nutritional values.
The App should not be used as the sole basis for dietary decisions, especially for medical conditions, allergies, or food sensitivities.
Health classifications (e.g., “Good,” “Fair,” “Poor”) are simplified ratings and do not account for individual health conditions.

4. Intended Use and Health Claim Boundary

Zurelo is intended for personal nutrition logging, food lookup, and educational wellness insights. Zurelo must not be used to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent disease, and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical or nutrition care.

5. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, your Apple ID or Google Account used with Zurelo, and any data stored locally on your device. Aevora Labs LLC is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized access to your device or account.

6. User-Generated Content

6.1 Food Corrections and Feedback

When you correct an AI-generated result (e.g., correcting a food name or nutritional value), you grant Aevora Labs LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process that correction data in anonymized, aggregated form to improve our services. No personally identifiable information is associated with correction data.

6.2 Shared Content

When you use the App's sharing features (e.g., sharing a weekly report or scan result), you are responsible for the content you share. Aevora Labs LLC does not monitor or moderate shared content.

7. Subscription Terms

7.1 Zurelo+ (Premium)

Zurelo offers a premium subscription (“Zurelo+”) that unlocks additional features. Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store.

7.2 Free Trial

New users may receive a 14-day free trial of Zurelo+. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the then-current rate.

7.3 Billing, Restore Purchases, and Cancellation

Subscription fees are charged at the beginning of each billing period (monthly or annually).
You may cancel at any time through your device's subscription settings (Settings → Subscriptions on iOS; Google Play → Subscriptions on Android).
Zurelo will provide a Restore Purchases entry where required by store policy.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No pro-rated refunds are provided.
Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google per their respective refund policies.

7.4 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices at any time. Price changes take effect at the start of the next billing period following notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

8. Intellectual Property

The Zurelo App, including its algorithms, user interface designs, branding, documentation, and all related intellectual property, is the exclusive property of Aevora Labs LLC. You may not:

Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.
Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App.
Use the Zurelo name, logo, or branding without prior written consent.
Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access our services.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of Zurelo is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

Your food diary and nutrition logs are stored locally on your device.
Scan images are processed transiently and not stored on our servers.
We use anonymized analytics to improve our services.
We do not sell your data to third parties.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AEVORA LABS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services;
Any nutritional data, health information, or food recommendations provided by the App;
Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data;
Any third-party content or services accessed through the App.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR ZURELO+ IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Aevora Labs LLC harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our services at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
